Adamo and Vicci are blues dance instructors, organisers and DJs. They started their blues dancing journey together in London, where they nurtured and grew the blues dance scene and created Europe’s first blues dance performance troupe, The Down and Outs.
They have an incredible chemistry on the dance floor. Their passion for both blues music and dance is evident in their classes, giving dynamic and energetic lessons with a focus on honouring the history of the blues and the African American culture from which it came. Gas is a professional dancer and dance instructor, based in Madrid. Apart from Blues dancing, he also specializes in other vintage dance styles (Lindy Hop, Charleston, Tango). Thanks to his background in Tango, his Blues has style drama and strength, grounded in a sensitive connection with his partner.

Alex & Mariangela are the organizers of Round Midnight. They have been teaching together Swing dances for almost 10 years and they love to draw inspiration from all of them and bring it to their Blues!
Their experience in choreographing and performing makes their dancing very theatrical and captivating!
& Ioanna Panagopoulou
Alex & Ioanna are both trained dancers; Alex has been doing Swing dances for more than 10 years and Ioanna has been dancing since she was a kid.
Since 2017 they have been focusing mainly on Blues, travelling around Europe performing, teaching and developing their skills as well as exploring the Blues dance and it's culture!

Leigh & Dáire are dance teachers, DJs, and event organisers, who have been sharing their love of the blues with dancers around Europe since 2010. They first met in 2011 and little did they know that 7 years later they would embark on a new journey, living and working together in Valencia, Spain.

All classes will be in our own "Swing Lounge" and a nearby studio.
Getting there: The area is very well covered by public transportation. "Ampelokipi" is the nearest metro station (just a 7 min walk to our studio).

Get into the Blues
This is an intensive crash course into Blues dancing for people that:
- are experienced dancers in any type of partnered social dance (Swing, Tango etc)
- and/or have taken some blues classes.
If you are familiar with the concepts of leading and following and want to explore the Blues, join this course! You 'll learn all the basics plus more that will comfortably get you on the dance floor and enjoying the Blues!
Understanding the Blues
This course will guide you through the process of evolving your dance skills and your understanding of the blues, idiom dances and music.
You must already be beyond the basics and eager to learn new ideas and moves that will take your dancing and understanding of the Blues culture, dances and music to the next level!
If you 're constantly looking for opportunities to go Blues dancing and have already attended various workshops or classes in the past couple of years, you 're ready for this course!
During registration select "Level B / C", There will be an audition on Friday late evening to place dancers in the level that is most suitable for their needs! You do not need to come to the audition if you are happy attending this level and don't want to try getting into level C. Bear in mind, the instructors and organizers have the right to move you to a lower or higher level at any time if they think it will be most suitable for you.
Deep into the Blues
Mastering an art form is a two-step processes:
- Going back to the basics to make sure you comprehend them well
- and exploring new ideas, options and possibilities!
If Blues dancing is a big part of your life (you go dancing often, take regular classes or travel to Blues events from time to time) this course is what you need to keep you inspired!
This course will deepen your knowledge and expand your understanding of what makes a good and evolving Blues dancer.
During registration select "Level B / C". There will be an audition on Friday late evening to place dancers in the level that is most suitable for their needs! If you do not come to the audition you will automatically be placed in level B. Bear in mind, the instructors and organizers have the right to move you to a lower or higher level at any time if they think it will be most suitable for you.
The detailed schedule will be announced in time. Just bear in mind that there will be classes/auditions (for the higher levels) on Friday evening (so plan your trip accordingly).
