We have specifically selected the most inspiring and sought after instructors representing a wide range of blues dance styles to create an amazing learning experience!

All levels include 7 hours of classes - 6 with international and 1 with local teachers.

Main Instructors

Fabien Vrillon
& Lisa Clarke

Fabien and Lisa met in 2010 and have been teaching and dancing together ever since. Coming from different backgrounds they both bring their own particular expertise, talents, and enthusiasm to the partnership

Their fun natured teaching style, yet ability to breakdown a movement, means their classes are a perfect mix for those wanting to progress their dancing. Constantly pushing themselves in their own dancing means they understand the work that goes into becoming a better dancer and are passionate about sharing their experiences and helping others to achieve their goals.

Adamo Ciarallo
& Vicci Moore

Adamo and Vicci are blues dance instructors, organisers and DJs. They started their blues dancing journey together in London, where they nurtured and grew the blues dance scene and created Europe’s first blues dance performance troupe, The Down and Outs.

They have an incredible chemistry on the dance floor. Their passion for both blues music and dance is evident in their classes, giving dynamic and energetic lessons with a focus on honouring the history of the blues and the African American culture from which it came. Both trained teachers, they strive to bring out and improve dancers technique, creativity and understanding of the dance and the music.

Noemi & Miguel come from Barcelona where they are prominent figures of the city's thriving Blues dance scence!

Both experienced dancers and organizers, they bring with them their excitement and love for the Blues dance and music!

Level A

Get into the Blues

This is an intensive crash course into Blues dancing for people that:

  • are experienced dancers in any type of partnered social dance (Swing, Tango etc)
  • and/or have taken a few blues classes.

If you are familiar with the concepts of leading and following and want to explore the Blues, join this course! You 'll learn all the basics plus more that will comfortably get you on the dance floor and enjoying the Blues!

Level B

Understanding the Blues

This course will guide you through the process of evolving your dance skills and your understanding of the blues idiom dances and music.

You must already be beyond the basics and eager to learn new ideas and moves that will take your dancing and understanding of the Blues culture, dances and music to the next level!

If you 're constantly looking for opportunities to go Blues dancing and have already attended various workshops or classes in the last 1-2 years, you 're ready for this course!

During registration select "Level B / C", There will be an audition on Friday late evening to place dancers in the level that is most suitable for their needs! You do not need to come to the audition if you are happy attending this level and don't want to try getting into level C.

Level C

Deep into the Blues

Mastering an art form is a two-step processes:

  • Going back to the basics to make sure you comprehend them well
  • and exploring new ideas, options and possibilities!

If Blues dancing is a big part of your life (you go dancing often, take regular classes or travel to Blues events from time to time) this course is what you need to keep you inspired!

This course will deepen your knowledge and expand your understanding of what makes a good and evolving Blues dancer.

During registration select "Level B / C". There will be an audition on Friday late evening to place dancers in the level that is most suitable for their needs! If you do not come to the audition you will automatically be placed in level B.

All classes will be in our own "Swing Lounge" and a nearby studio (just 3 mins away).
Getting there: The area is very well covered by public transportation. "Ampelokipi" is the nearest metro station (just a 7 min walk to our studio).
